| Games cost about 80-100 bucks over here in Turkey because of stock prices and additional taxes. How much do they cost in your country? | |

| 50-100 US$ for new games depending on the system or peripherals. Wouldn't be much of a problem if I could actually find a job/ | |

| The real question is, why?Why are games, movies, music CDs and stuff so expensive? It's data contained in a disc, f***ing big deal. And why do governments still make laws to prevent us from pirating? What's wrong with paying the right effing price?Game makers, singers, players and other people in the industry shouldn't be ultra rich, they don't do that much. Most of them are known to be jerks, even. | |

| Supposedly there's a lot of hard work and costs to make and market a product down the line so at least they're getting something. We all know how often we pay attention to credits after all. | |

| First of all, most jobs are hard. You don't see the garbageman having millions.Secondly, most of the gamers and players, producers, scriptwriters do the things they WANT to do.They shouldn't be overpaid. They dont deserve it. | |

| They just picked the right career. If they didn't want to do what they were doing, they'd either
A: Do a lousy job at it B: Quit and find something they do want to do.
Plus, have you ever TRIED coming up with an original concept for a game. That's just the first step, and believe me, it's not easy. So far, I've never gotten past that one step. Also, the garbage man? Really? I know it's a bit of exercise, but your comparing game developers to the fucking GARBAGE MAN? Yeah, he deserves some recognition, but Jesus!
My point is, you shouldn't get paid less just because you like your job; you should make sure you get a job you like to ensure you get paid more. I mean, think: the more you like your job, the more you want to work. The more you want to work, the better you do. The better you do at your job, the more you get paid, and the more other people need to pay for stuff you make. NOT the exact opposite! | |

| I'll post 'em then, just later. The concepts themselves are in development. But I could say the main one is something in between Crisis, Team Fortress 2, Halo, Metroid and Mass Effect. It's a retro post-apocalyptic space FPS. With multiplayer. | |

| Ooh, TF2 styling? Crossed with other styles? Maybe.... *sniff*, maybe. I've yet to meet one who can come up with BULLET. | |

| The weapon carry system, the engine and other stuff are more like based on Halo. | |

| Interesting... so that's the STYLE... or styleS... but what's the concept? Or the story, if any? What's the player supposed to feel when they're playing it? How does it give the illusion that you're actually doing what it shows your character doing? Can I see some screenshots? Was it really THAT easy? | |

| I told you, the development of the CONCEPT is easy. Well it's sort of Space Western, but no cowboys or shit like that. There is a story, yes, but I'd like to keep it secret, for now. | |

| To be more exact, the game, if ever made, will be quite like Borderlands. | |

| I still don't see how just because you like what you do, you don't deserve your pay. Also, I've noticed that the different styles, though they've never really been crossed over before, have been used already. Recycling physical materials: Good. Recycling ideas: Not-So-Good. While I respect the idea, I kind of have to criticize the originality. What is it that makes it different? What do I experience from this game that I can't get from any other game? With all due respect, development of that concept seemed pretty easy indeed, considering it was (from what you've told me) all copying and pasting pieces of other published ideas. | |

| Well I didn't intend to do that but it all happened during development, witjout me noticing. What makes it different? Well from what I told you I'd expect you to see that what makes it playable, not different. It's mostly in design of the elements and the plot. | |
